about

Inspired by his poem, this song is dedicated to Chris Garrett, who cleared many landmines during his time in Myanmar, and also to the Karen people who have suffered such hardships but still keep smiling.

lyrics

Under the trees where the flowers grow
Beneath the seeds the farmers sow
Deeper still it lays in wait
Man's seed of pain and hate
It does not judge, fear, hunger or sleep
It yearns to greet you by your feet

But fear not for pain is quick
No-one hears the landmine go click, click, click, click
No-one hears the landmine go click
